We thought you might enjoy seeing some photos of NTM's current (as of August 2011) and future U.S. headquarters.
Current NTM U.S. Headquarters
NTM's current U.S. headquarters is located at 1000 East First Street in Sanford, Florida, about halfway between Daytona Beach and Orlando.
This historic building was built in 1925, originally known as the Forrest Lake Hotel, then later renamed the Mayfair Inn and then purchased by the New York
The building was then home to the Sanford Naval Academy from 1965 until 1976, before New Tribes Mission purchased the building in 1978 for use as their U.S.
Forrest Lake Hotel & Mayfair Inn
Our fellow NTM missionaries, John & Linda McGhee, have a nice set of Forrest Lake Hotel and Mayfair Inn photos on their
GoYeMcGhee.com website; thanks to Jim
Cara for sharing these images from his collection of Sanford postcards.

Future NTM U.S. Headquarters
During the summer of 2011, the six-story downtown Sanford Tower, corporate headquarters of Federal Trust Bank, located at 312 West First Street in Sanford
(approx. 0.8 miles west of the existing NTM headquarters) was put up for sale at a very reasonable price.
After inspecting and evaluating the building, NTM made a decision to purchase the building as their future U.S. headquarters. This would allow them to
eventually sell the existing NTM headquarters building, which required more costly maintenance, due to its age and larger lawn area.

The building has six stories, with lots of windows.

Looking east (First Street is to the right of the building)
The property consists of the six-story Federal Trust Bank tower, which was built alongside the original single story bank building (with the white roof) and
another adjacent building (which contained a special office suite for the bank president).

We want to thank our fellow NTM missionaries, John & Carol Pierce, for sharing from their collection of
Sanford Tower photos; they also have posted a number of photos of
our current NTM headquarters.
John is a very talented photographer with an eye for a unique or humorous photo. You'll enjoy browsing his PhotoInspiration collection; we especially enjoy his Humor collection.
